Target Audience for COSHH Training Course Level 2

Hazardous substances are found in most working environments and annually thousands of workers become ill after contact with them, contracting diseases such as asthma, cancer and dermatitis.

The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 provides a legal framework that requires employers to protect employees from hazardous substances at work and to ensure that employees liable to be exposed to a substance hazardous to health are suitably and sufficiently informed, instructed and trained.

This is an advanced level 2 awareness course designed for employers, managers and supervisors with responsibility for the welfare of employees and the management and control of substances hazardous to health. The course is designed to satisfy the training and awareness requirements of relevant legislation and regulations including COSHH and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It also meets the requirements of CHAS, SafeContractor, Construction line, Exor and other SSIP registrations plus HSE safety training requirements.

Meets the requirements of HSE, CHAS, SafeContractor, ConstructionLine, Exor, SMAS and other SSIPs.

COSHH Training Course Level 2 - Accreditation and Certification

IIRSM Certificate

Successful candidates will receive a IIRSM Certificate and 0.5 CPD Credits.

This course certificate has no expiry date because there is no formally recognised period of validity for any health and safety training or this type of course. The HSE recommends refresher training is carried out whenever it is felt necessary. Safety registration bodies such as CHAS, SafeContractor, ConstructionLine & SMAS and other members of the SSiP scheme recommend most re-training is done every 3 years. We would recommend refreshing knowledge as and when legislation or guidance changes applicable to these regulations.

All of our courses, systems and services have been registered to the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 quality standard. Quality Management Systems Ltd (QMS) made this prestigious award to Commodious in January 2018. This gives assurance that the training and assessment was completed with a quality registered organisation.
